CEDAR CITY, Utah-Hunter Rhodes posted 18 points and the Millard Eagles edged South Sevier 57-55 Wednesday at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic at Canyon View High School. Ridge Tebbs led the Rams in the loss with 16 points.
Smithfield Classic
BEAVER, Utah-Conner Crum netted 15 points and 7 rebounds and the Beaver Beavers edged Tintic 43-40 Wednesday at the Smithfield Classic. Holden Peterson had 18 points in the loss for the Miners.

TROPIC, Utah-Miles Roberts posted 15 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs gashed Tabiona 57-42 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Chance Lazenby and Lawson Curry had 8 points apiece in the loss for the Tigers.
GUNNISON, Utah-Kayson Douglas led the way with 23 points and the Manti Templars routed Gunnison Valley 76-52 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Jack Hansen had 13 points for the Bulldogs in defeat.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Aspen Okerlund led the way with 15 points and the South Sevier Rams edged Hurricane 39-36 at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic Wednesday.

FILLMORE, Utah-Kara Camp netted 14 points and the Millard Eagles pummeled North Sanpete 58-16 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball play. Adelay Stavros and Tylee Henrie had 4 points apiece for the Hawks in the loss.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Nicole Willardson posted 16 points and the Richfield Wildcats bested Pine View 49-38 in non-region girls basketball play Wednesday. Emma Jensen’s game-high 17 points led the Panthers in defeat.
TROPIC, Utah-Abbie Rhoades led the way with 14 points and the Tabiona Tigers downed Bryce Valley 30-19 Wednesday in non-region girls basketball play. Reagan Syrett, Shandi Syrett, Kristen Stewart and Rylee Pollock had 4 points apiece for the Mustangs in the loss.
