EPHRAIM, Utah-Monday evening, Snow College men’s and women’s soccer coach Charles Long was named the Scenic West Conference women’s coach of the year.

Long led the Badgers to a 16-1 (.941) record and an appearance in the Scenic West Region Tournament Finals.

In this October 30 game, Salt Lake Community College prevailed over the Badgers 1-0. The Bruins then advanced to the national semifinals, losing 1-0 to Tyler (Texas).

Doubling as the Badgers’ men’s coach, Long led the Snow men to a record of 11-5 (.688). The Badger men also lost to Salt Lake Community College in the region district finals as the Bruins prevailed 2-0.

Long has also been nominated for the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division I Women’s National Staff of the Year.
