MESA, Ariz.-Wyatt Lowell netted 30 points and 12 rebounds on 11-22 from the field and 6-11 from range as the No. 15 Snow Badgers clipped South Plains (Texas) 79-70 Monday to commence the Fiesta Bowl Junior College Shootout at Mesa Community College.

The Badgers (10-3, 1-2 in Scenic West Sports play) shot 53 percent (32-60) from the field on the night.

Savion Gallion posted 22 points on 8-16 from the field in the loss for the Texans, who fell to 4-6 on the season.

Snow advances to play host Mesa Tuesday at 6:00 pm in the winner’s bracket.
