A Utah family is dealing with hardship after their 10-year-old boy drowned. The boy, Brigg Leavitt, and his father fell through the ice into Gunnison Bend Reservoir Monday Dec. 20. Brigg was transported by helicopter to Primary Children’s hospital where he passed away later that day.

According to a Facebook post on the Millard County Chronicle Progress page, the family had been visiting Millard County for the holidays when the event occurred. Brigg’s family has created a Gofundme page to help cover medical and funeral expenses.
