OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State senior kick returner/receiver Rashid Shaheed was named a first-team STATS Perform FCS All-American.

Shaheed is the first player in program history to earn All-American honors four times during his career.

In 2021, Shaheed ranked eighth nationally in all-purpose yards (1,503) and returned two kickoffs for scores.

Shaheed is the FCS all-time leader in kickoff returns for touchdowns (7) and he ranked 9th nationally with 28.7 yards per kick return.

As a receiver, Shaheed led the Wildcats with 39 grabs for 700 yards and four scores on the season.

Shaheed leaves Weber State with 5,478 all-purpose yards (third in school history) 2,164 receiving yards (seventh in school history) and 146 receptions (10th all-time).

Shaheed also posted 18 scoring receptions during his career with the Wildcats.
