GARLAND, Utah-Morgan Bowles and Landon Bowles each scored 15 points and pulled down five rebounds as the North Sanpete Hawks held off Ben Lomond 60-56 Thursday at the Bear River Winter Classic. Ty Morley added 10 points in the win for North Sanpete.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Nicole Willardson’s 21 points led the Richfield Wildcats to a 50-34 rout of Hurricane at the Desert Hills Holiday Classic Thursday. Addi Crandall had 10 points in defeat for the Tigers.
Non-Region
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Ellie Norton stepped up with 9 points and the Pine View Panthers edged Beaver 42-39 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Avery Brown’s game-high 12 points led the Beavers in defeat.
BLUFFDALE, Utah-Kayla Hamblin led the way with 14 points and the Summit Academy Bears downed Juab 42-30 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Avia Stowell had 8 points for the Wasps in defeat.
MANTI, Utah-Bianca Silva posted 15 points and the Layton Christian Eagles downed Manti 56-52 in non-region girls basketball action Thursday. Charlee Mandel and Heidi Jorgensen had 14 points apiece in the loss for the Templars.
GUNNISON, Utah-Tylee Henrie and Kortley Cook netted 14 points apiece and the North Sanpete Hawks gashed Gunnison Valley 48-44 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Rilee Dyreng’s game-high 20 points paced the Bulldogs in the loss.
PAROWAN, Utah-Kyan Orton’s 14 points led the way and the Panguitch Bobcats tripped up Parowan 42-39 in non-region girls basketball play Thursday. Katlynn Matheson had 11 points for the Rams in defeat.
SALINA, Utah-Aaliyah Baldwin amassed 29 points and the Draper APA Eagles pounded North Sevier 71-53 Thursday in non-region girls basketball play. Gracee Johnson and Brooklyn Butler had 13 points apiece for the Wolves in the loss.
