A farmer is without their pick up truck after a fire on Nov. 29. Salina city fire officials were called out to the fire around 6:00 p.m. and crews were able to stop the blaze.
According to reports, the farmer was chasing cows back into the pasture when tumble weeds gathered up around the exhaust and catalytic converter. They couldn’t get the weeds out quick enough and it caught on fire.
No injures were reported and the vehicle was a total loss.
