(Farmington, UT) — A Utah school district will conduct an independent investigation into possible bullying following the death of a ten-year-old girl. Isabella “Izzy” Tichenor [[ TISH-ner ]] committed suicide earlier this month. Her parents believe their daughter was bullied and harassed by students at Foxboro Elementary because she had dyslexia and was on the autism spectrum. The Davis School District board confirmed yesterday that it will turn to an outside investigation team to look into the accusations of bullying. The school board president said the district has a process in place to investigate bullying and harassment complaints at every school.
