(St. George, UT) – The Bureau of Land Management is listening to off road enthusiasts. Officials with the BLM district office in St. George held a listening session with the public to get a better grasp of what off road enthusiasts would like to see happen on land managed by the federal entity. Monday’s hearing focused on the environmental impact and other concerns stemming from the use of recreational vehicles on a portion of BLM land known as the Arizona Strip southeast of St. George. Five more listening sessions are scheduled before the BLM makes any decision to adjust norms for motorized recreational vehicle operation in the region.
