(Salt Lake City, UT) — Salt Lake City is thinking about making a bid to host the next Republican National Convention. Visit Salt Lake and the Utah Republican Party met with the GOP National Committee in Washington, D.C. recently to get more information on a potential bid. A decision on making a formal bid is still being discussed. Other cities have expressed interest in hosting the 2024 convention, including Kansas City, Milwaukee, Las Vegas and Nashville.
