LAS VEGAS-Tuesday, the Utah Jazz made two signings on the first day of training camp at the Wynn of Las Vegas.
Utah signed forwards Marques Bolden and Malik Fitts.
Bolden, a 6-10 249-pound forward has previously been with the Cleveland Cavaliers, appearing in seven games over the course of the past two seasons.
Bolden averaged 1 point and 1.4 rebounds per game for Cleveland in seven games.
Bolden played college basketball at Duke from 2016-2019, posting 3.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for the Blue Devils.
Fitts played three games for the Los Angeles Clippers last season, posting 1 point and 1 rebound per game for Los Angeles in spot duty.
The 6-8 230-pound Fitts primarily played for the Clippers’ G-League franchise last season, the Agua Caliente Clippers, posting 11.1 points and 4 rebounds per game.
Fitts played college basketball at Saint Mary’s and South Florida from 2016-2020.
As a collegian, Fitts averaged 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for the Gaels and Bulls.
At Saint Mary’s, Fitts achieved first-team All-West Coast Conference honors in 2019-20 and second-team All-WCC honors in 2020-21.
