(Teton County, WY) — The FBI is confirming that a body found in Wyoming last weekend belongs to Gabby Petito. The body was found on Sunday in a camping area near Grand Teton National Park. Her death is being classified as a homicide at this time. Investigators plan to continue their search for Petito’s fiance today. Brian Laundrie is a person of interest in Petito’s disappearance, and searchers have been looking for him in a south Florida nature preserve since his family reported him missing last weekend. Laundrie and Petito were stopped by police in Moab last month after a 911 caller reported a possible case of domestic assault involving the couple.
