In a post to their Facebook page on Sept. 2, the Piute County Sheriff’s Office shared that between two occasions nine sheep were shot and killed on a farm South of Junction.

They shared that three were killed between Aug. 28 at 8:00 p.m. and Aug. 29 at 9:00 a.m. The other six were killed between Sept. 1 at 8:00 p.m. and Sept. 2 at 8: 43 a.m.

Anyone who has any information regarding these shooting is urged to contact the Piute County Sheriff’s Office by calling (435) 577-2893. A possible reward may be offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in this crime.
