SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday evening, University of Utah Athletics inducted its 2021 Hall of Fame Class ahead of this evening’s football season opener against Weber State.

This class consists of six All-Americans and one Heisman Trophy finalist.

Those honored include volleyball All-American volleyball middle blocker/outside hitter Lori Baird,  football All-American, first-team All-WAC offensive tackle Anthony Brown, baseball first-team All-American outfielder Casey Child, football All-American tailback Eddie Johnson, football Heisman Trophy finalist and No. 1 pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, quarterback Alex Smith and softball All-American Amy Timmel-Hogue.
