Cedar City Crash Occurs Sunday Afternoon

CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP)-Per the official Twitter of UDOT Traffic, a crash occurred Sunday afternoon on the north end of Cedar City.

The incident occurred on southbound Interstate 15 at milepost 62, or the northernmost exit to Cedar City along I-15.

The estimated clearance time is around 3:56 pm MST.

If in the area, please drive safely and listen to all instructions authorities may give you.

Incidentally, a second incident occurred in Iron County Sunday as there was a crash at milepost 29 on S.R. 56, two miles west of Newcastle.

The anticipated clearance time for this incident is 3:58 pm MST.

As of 7:00 pm MST Sunday, the National Weather Service has issued an advisory for the mountains of central and southern Utah as strong and heavy snowstorms are expected to impact all mountain ranges.

This will make driving dangerous on Interstate 15 from the Utah-Idaho border to milepost 42, Black Ridge, near New Harmony, Interstate 70 near Cove Fort, U.S. 50 from Delta to Salina and U.S. 6 from the Utah-Nevada border to Helper.
