CHARLESTON, S.C.-Wednesday, BYU sophomore tailback Tyler Allgeier and Utah senior quarterback Charlie Brewer were honored by College Football Performance Awards as contenders for the CFPA National Performer of the Year trophy.

Allgeier has also been named to the Maxwell Award, Doak Walker Award and Paul Hornung Award watch lists.

Brewer has been named to the Maxwell Award Watch list in addition to the CFPA trophy watch list.
