Dixie State Men’s Basketball Inks Trey Edmonds To NLI

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Tuesday, Dixie State men’s basketball head coach Jon Judkins signed standout prep forward Trey Edmonds to a national letter of intent.

Edmonds starred at George Washington High School of Denver. This school is also renowned for producing NBA champion and current Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups.

Edmonds posted 10 points and just under eight rebounds per game last season for the Patriots.

His father, Fred Edmonds, posted 10.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game at Colorado from 1993-1997.

Judkins lauded Trey Edmonds’ strength and confirmed he is ready for the collegiate game.

Trey Edmonds joins BYU transfer Kolby Lee, Dixie High School standout Isaac Finlinson, Lehi High School product Noa Gonsalves, Odessa College (Texas) transfer Dancell Letter and Jamaal Barnes, formerly of Mt. San Jacinto College (Calif.)
