(Salt Lake City, UT) — A juvenile court judge is ordering the case to move forward for a 16-year-old boy accused of shooting 14-year-old Deserae Turner. The boy is accused of pulling the trigger in an incident where he and another teen are accused of luring Turner into a canal to rob her. Prosecutors say the boys left her there to die after shooting her in the back of the head. A judge yesterday set a May 8th hearing to decide whether the case should proceed in juvenile or adult court.
