Fountain Green is holding an open house for its new city hall. The open house will take place on Friday June 25 from 5-9 p.m. The fire department will serve hamburgers and hot dogs in the buildings parking lot.

The building has been open since May 11 and contains city offices as well as a large council room that can also be used as a banquet room. The basement also has two rooms that were recently finished that include a fully functional library. The building also has a large fire station.

The building cost $3.4 million, but with rising costs it’s estimated that today it would cost more than double.
