Bills To Increase Minimum Wage Rejected

Utah lawmakers have rejected two bills that would have raised the state minimum wage. Under House Minority Leader Brian King’s proposal, the wage would have gone from $7.25 an hour to $12 an hour by July 2022. A separate proposal would have given tipped workers one dollar more per hour.
