In the afternoon on May 9 a Sevier County deputy was dispatched to a vandalism in Monroe. According to the deputy the reporting party said that he had come out to his car that morning to see that someone had stuck between 200 and 300 post it notes on his car with “Trump 2020” handwritten on them.
The reporting party said he has a sign supporting Joe Biden in his yard and thinks it happened because of that. The complainant said he had taken all the stickers off and that no damage had been done to his car. Authorities stated that they have no suspects at this time.
