Scenic West

LAS VEGAS-Wyatt Lowell had 27 points and 5 rebounds and Drake Allen added 23 points on 8-11 from the field and 2-3 behind the arc as the No. 14 Snow Badgers outlasted Southern Nevada 88-82 in Scenic West men’s basketball play Thursday at Democracy Prep Academy. Dominique Ford had 20 points on 9-13 from the field in the loss for the Coyotes.

Snow returns to action Friday and Saturday at Community Christian of Redlands, Calif. to conclude the regular season.

LAS VEGAS-Sharmayne Finley led the way with 15 points and the Southern Nevada Coyotes edged Snow 57-56 Thursday in Scenic West women’s basketball play at Democracy Prep Academy. Ashlee Edwards had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Badgers in the loss.
