A man who has consistently engaged in altercations with others while in prison was sentenced on three 2nd degree felony charges of aggravated assault on Wednesday. Mark Anthony Ott was housed in both the prison in Draper and the Central Utah Correctional Facility when the assaults took place. All of the assaults resulted in serious bodily injury to others. Ott is currently serving a 25 year to life sentence for causing the death of a six-year old girl in 2002. Each of the new charges carries a sentence of 1 to 15 years and will be served concurrent with his present sentence and concurrent with each other. At the sentencing, Ott said he needs to resolve issues in a different way.
