Former Jazz F Diaw Retires

(Salt Lake City, UT)  —  Former Utah Jazz forward Boris Diaw is retiring. The Frenchman announced his retirement yesterday via social media.  He spent the 2016-2017 season with the Jazz and appeared in 73 games.  It ended up being his final NBA season.

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Jazz beat the Orlando Magic 75-70 to advance in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League tournament. Diamond Stone led Utah with 14 points and 11 boards.  Georges Niang contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds. The Jazz will play the Memphis Grizzlies tomorrow.
