OGDEN, Utah-Late Wednesday, Weber State Athletics announced Kayla Morgan will serve as assistant athletic director/senior woman administrator for the athletic department.

Morgan has spent the last seven seasons as an assistant coach with the Wildcats’ volleyball team.

She also played an integral role in the Wildcats making their first NCAA Tournament appearance in school history during the spring 2021 season.

Morgan is a native of nearby Kaysville, Utah and starred as an All-American volleyball player at Davis High School.

She then played at the collegiate level at both Pepperdine and BYU.

Morgan replaces Megan Thunell in these dual roles.
