OREM, Utah-Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Mark Madsen confirmed open tryouts for Utah Valley University students will occur August 31 from 1:30-3:30 pm at the Utah Valley NUVI Basketball Practice facility.

Students hoping to participate in the tryout will need to have completed a medical physical before participating and submit proof of the physical.

Participants will need to meet requirements as explained in the tryout clearance packet. This should be downloaded and completely filled out. They must then be submitted to the men’s basketball offices at the NUVI Center or the athletic compliance offices in the Wolverine Service Center by August 27.

Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits to tryout, be academically eligible and have current, valid health insurance.
