OREM, Utah-Wednesday, UVU men’s basketball head coach Todd Phillips added Louis Wilson to his staff as an assistant coach.

Wilson comes to the Wolverines after four seasons as the head coach at NCAA Division II Texas-Tyler.

Wilson has also been the head coach at NCAA Division II Adams State and as the associate head coach at Grand Canyon, Cal State Northridge and Idaho State in Division I.

During his playing days, Wilson starred at Anchorage East High School of Anchorage, Alaska, Trenton (Mo.) Junior College and at NCAA Division II William Jewell.
