BOSTON-Wednesday, Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Todd Phillips was named a finalist for the Hugh Durham Award.
This award is annually presented to the top mid-major head coach in Division I men’s basketball and is named in honor of Hugh Durham, who built successful programs at Florida State (1966-1978), Georgia (1978-1995) and Jacksonville (1997-2005) and is the winningest coach in Seminoles, Bulldogs and Dolphins history.
In his second season at the helm of the Wolverines’ program, Phillips is 37-23 (.617) including a 21-7 mark this season and a 13-1 record in WAC play.
