FARMINGTON, Utah-Wednesday, Utah Tech and SUU announced they were joining and rejoining, the Big Sky Conference respectively.

The Trailblazers and Thunderbirds will officially be in the Big Sky July 1, 2026.

The Thunderbirds left the Big Sky in 2022 to join Utah Tech and Utah Valley in the WAC.

Utah Tech and SUU will join fellow Utah university Weber State in the Big Sky as well.

As of July 1, 2026, the Big Sky Conference will feature the following schools:

Eastern Washington

Idaho

Idaho State

Montana

Montana State

Northern Arizona

Northern Colorado

Portland State

Southern Utah

Utah Tech

Weber State

Cal Poly and UC-Davis are football-only members of the Big Sky.
