Utah State’s Levi Williams Named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State graduate junior quarterback Levi Williams was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week.

The 6’5″ 230-pound Williams is a Smithson Valley HS (Wyo.) product and posted 351 yards of total offense in the Aggies’ 44-41 win over New Mexico last Friday which made the Aggies bowl eligible.

Williams, who ran for 153 yards and three scores against the Lobos, is only the eighth Utah State quarterback in program history to run for more than 100 yards in a game.

Williams also tossed for 198 yards, a pair of scores and an interception against New Mexico.

Williams and his Aggies teammates next await their bowl destination. This will be determined December 3.
