LOGAN, Utah-Tuesday, Utah State men’s basketball signed senior guard Ian Martinez who spent the last two seasons at Maryland.

This is a return to the Beehive State for Martinez as he started his college basketball career (2020-21) at Utah.

During his collegiate career with the Utes and Terrapins, Martinez has averaged 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Last season at Maryland, the native of Costa Rica and former JSerra Catholic High School (Calif.) star, averaged 5.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
