CHICAGO-For the second consecutive season, Utah senior star linebacker Devin Lloyd has been named as a finalist for the 2021 Butkus Award.
The 37th annual Butkus Award annually honors the nation’s best collegiate linebacker with Lloyd being named one of six semifinalists for this award.
The preseason All-American is also a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award and Walter Camp Player of the year awards.
Lloyd is the No. 3 rated linebacker nationally per Pro Football Focus.
On the season, Lloyd has 6 sacks, 3 interceptions, 21 tackles for a loss, six passes defensed and a forced fumble.

Cincinnati graduate linebacker Darrian Beavers (3 sacks, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 2 forced fumbles)
Wisconsin junior inside linebacker Leo Chenal (6.5 sacks, 15.5 tackles for a loss, 2 forced fumbles)
LSU senior linebacker Damone Clark (3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 3 passes defensed)
Georgia junior linebacker Nakobe Dean (2 interceptions, 4.5 sacks, 7 tackles for a loss)
Wyoming senior linebacker Chad Muma (3 interceptions, 7.5 tackles for a loss, sack).
