SAN FRANCISCO-Tuesday, the Pac-12 released its various all-conference football team rosters. As conference champions, the Utah Utes placed 15 representatives on the various teams.
The Utes who made the respective teams are as follows:
Pac-12 1st Team
Sophomore quarterback Cam Rising. Rising led the Pac-12 in yards per pass attempt (8.03 yards) and completion percentage (62.7 percent; 187-298). Rising threw for 2,279 yards, 18 touchdowns and 5 interceptions during the regular season.
Sophomore tailback Tavian Thomas. Thomas led the Utes in carries (186), rushing yards (1,041) and rushing scores (20). Thomas also led the squad with 5.6 yards per carry.
Thomas led the conference in scoring per game (12 points per contest) and rushing scores (16).
Senior linebacker Devin Lloyd. Lloyd has a team-high 106 tackles, along with eight sacks, four interceptions, two quarterback hurries and six pass breakups.
Junior defensive end Mika Tafua. Tafua had 48 tackles and 13 tackles for a loss on the season for the Utes.
Junior specialist Britain Covey. Covey led the Pac-12 with 14.7 yards per punt return. This ranks Covey third nationally.
Junior offensive lineman Nick Ford
Pac-12 2nd Team
Junior tight end Brant Kuithe. Kuithe posted 44 receptions for 534 yards and 6 touchdowns. Kuithe was also a 2020 All-American.
Freshman cornerback Clark Phillips III. Phillips led all Pac-12 freshmen with 11 passes defensed. Phillips had a 54-yard interception return for a score in a 24-13 win over Washington State.

Freshman safety Cole Bishop (3 sacks, 5 passes defensed)

Junior tight end Dalton Kincaid (33 rec, 465 yards, 7 TD’s)
