SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, University of Utah football added Idaho to the 2026 schedule, per a state of Idaho public records request.

The Utes are to host the Vandals September 3, 2026 at Rice-Eccles Stadium with Idaho obtaining a $600,000 guarantee for playing.

Utah and Idaho have met on the gridiron since 1908 with the Utes leading the Vandals 14-12-2 (.535) all-time.

The Utes now have all three of their non-conference opponents determined for 2026. Utah will host Arkansas September 12 and Utah State September 19.
