Monday, Utah and BYU football were each ranked in The Associated Press preseason Top 25 poll.

The Utes check in at No. 7 and the Cougars are No. 25 presently.

Utah is coming off of a 10-4 season and their first all-time Pac-12 championship which resulted in a Rose Bowl berth where they fell to Ohio State.

The Cougars were 10-3 last season and are coming off of an Independence Bowl berth, a loss against UAB.
