TACOMA, Wash.-Josh Morgan homered and the Tacoma Rainiers doubled up Salt Lake 4-2 Tuesday at Cheney Stadium in the Pacific Coast League opener for both squads. Zach Green added 2 more RBI in victory for the Rainiers. Kyle Bird won the game on the mound for Tacoma, improving to 1-0 on the season. Orlando Martinez and Magneuris Sierra each had RBI for the Bees in the loss. The series resumes Wednesday at 7:05 pm MDT.
