TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Ace Reiser’s 17 points and 8 rebounds on 6/10 from the floor and the No. 3 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles upset No. 1 Snow 71-66 Saturday at the College of Southern Idaho Gym and Recreation Center in SWAC men’s college basketball play. Sean Felts posted 15 points and 7 rebounds on 7/11 from the floor in the loss for the Badgers. By virtue of this win, Southern Idaho has won the Scenic West Conference regular season championship and will host the conference tournament Friday and Saturday at the College of Southern Idaho Gym and Recreation Center. The Badgers, as the No. 2 seed, will face No. 3 USU-Eastern Utah Friday at 5:00 pm.

Women’s Basketball

TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Sara Aoki netted 26 points on 10/13 from the floor and 2/3 behind the arc as the Snow Badgers upset No. 6 Southern Idaho 78-68 at the College of Southern Idaho Gym and Recreation Center Saturday in SWAC women’s college basketball play. Ashley Garner posted 20 points on 8/10 from the floor in defeat for the Golden Eagles. Snow and Southern Idaho meet again in the Scenic West conference tournament at Twin Falls, Idaho Thursday March 12 as the No. 4 seed Badgers visit the top-seeded Golden Eagles for a 7:30 pm tipoff.
