Wrangler Club Shootout @ Odessa, Texas

ODESSA, Texas-Mark Brown posted 34 points on 8-9 from the field and 16-17 at the foul line and the No. 5 Snow Badgers got past No. 9 Odessa 89-85 at the Wrangler Club Shootout at Odessa College Friday.

The Badgers shot 57 percent (26-46) for the game in victory. Samarion Bond led the way with 17 points on 6-8 from the field and 5-6 behind the arc in defeat for the Wranglers. Snow concludes their participation in this tournament with a Saturday game against New Mexico Military at 11:00 am MST.

Women’s Basketball

New Mexico Junior College Tournament @ Hobbs, N.M.

HOBBS, N.M.-Hadley Richins netted 10 points and the No. 25 Snow Badgers dismantled Otero (Colo.) 65-47 Friday at the New Mexico Junior College Tournament. Kendra Byrd led the Rattlers in defeat with 17 points. Snow returns to action Saturday to conclude participation in this tournament by facing McCook (Neb.) at 12:00 pm.
