EPHRAIM, Utah-Deuce Roberson posted 6 receptions for 130 yards and a score and Targhee Lambson ran for two touchdowns as the No. 9 Snow Badgers had a successful Homecoming with a 23-20 win over Garden City (Kan.) Saturday at Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium.
Rahsul Faison added 102 rushing yards for the Badgers in the win, who improved to 5-2.
Martiel Singleton had 2 receptions for 70 yards and a score for the Broncbusters in the loss.
Snow returns to action Friday by visiting the U.S. Air Force Academy Prep squad at Colorado Springs, Colo. to face the Huskies.
Women’s Volleyball
TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Valentina Sarti-Cipriani’s 17 kills led the way and the Southern Idaho Golden Eagles upset No. 7 Snow 3-2 Saturday at The College of Southern Idaho Gymnasium.
Ashlynn Olsen’s 19 kills led the Badgers in the loss as they fell to 14-5 and 3-4 in SWAC play. The Golden Eagles prevailed over the Badgers 21-25, 25-14, 14-25, 25-16, 15-13.
Women’s Soccer
EPHRAIM, Utah-The No. 10 Snow Badgers doubled up No. 4 SLCC 4-2 Saturday in SWAC women’s soccer play. Aly Starbuck and Lexi Vernsey scored in defeat for the Bruins.
