EPHRAIM, Utah

Kiley Mitchell and Kaley Lyman each homered and the Snow Badgers achieved a split against USU-Eastern Utah with a 15-9 victory in the regular season finale for both squads Tuesday. Kaci Smith posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Former North Sanpete High School star Graciee Christiansen homered in defeat for the Eagles.

First Game

Giana Bruno homered twice and the USU-Eastern Utah Eagles routed Snow 16-9 in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader Tuesday.

Lexi Butterfield earned the win in the circle for the Eagles, improving to 9-3 on the season.

In defeat, August Cowan homered twice for the Badgers. Hadlee Walker, Kaitlyn Slade and Kiley Mitchell also went yard for Snow in the loss.
