EPHRAIM, Utah-Taya Manzanares homered and the No. 9 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles outlasted Snow 10-8 Saturday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader.

Abby Hayes posted one strikeout in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for CSI. Andrea Sweat and Kamryn Allen homered in the loss for the Badgers.

EPHRAIM, Utah-Markessa Jensen homered and the No. 9 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles dismantled Snow 5-1 Saturday to complete a SWAC softball doubleheader sweep of the Badgers. Eva Stoddard posted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Southern Idaho. Hailey Mangum homered in the loss for Snow.

Following Saturday’s results, the Golden Eagles improved to 34-11 and 24-5 in SWAC play while the Badgers fell to 30-18 and 19-12 in conference play.
