EPHRAIM, Utah-Tessa Hokanson, Lily Zimmer, Tasha Hokanson and Abbie Banning each homered and the No. 6 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles doubled up Snow 16-8 Monday in the opening round of the SWAC softball tournament.

Eva Stoddard posted four strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Golden Eagles.

Hailey Mangum homered twice and Kamryn Allen also went yard in defeat for the Badgers.

Snow returns to action Tuesday at 2:30 pm in the consolation bracket as Badgers host No. 4 USU-Eastern Utah.
