EPHRAIM, Utah-Tasia Shibuya, Bailey Bowers and Emma Higley each homered and the Snow Badgers completed a Monday sweep of USU-Eastern Utah with an 8-7 victory. Kaci Smith posted two strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers. Graciee Christiansen homered in the loss for the Eagles in defeat.

First Game

Hadlee Walker and Kaitlyn Slade each homered and the Snow Badgers downed USU-Eastern Utah 9-3 Monday in the first game of a SWAC softball doubleheader.

Andrea Sweat posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers.

Kalsey Lopes homered in defeat for the Eagles.

Following Monday’s results, the Badgers improved to 23-26 and 15-23 in SWAC play. The Eagles fell to 30-19 and 20-18 in conference play.

The squads conclude the series with a doubleheader at Ephraim Tuesday.
