RICHFIELD, Utah-Per Monday news, Bryan Strain was named as the new head coach of the Snow College men’s wrestling program by athletic director Rob Nielson.
Strain comes to the Badgers from Snowflake, Ariz. where he served as the Lobos’ wrestling program’s strength and conditioning/upper weight technique coach for three years.
Prior to his time in the White Mountains, Strain was the head wrestling coach at North Sanpete High School from 2016-2020.
Strain began his coaching career at Flagstaff High School following his graduation from Northern Arizona University of Flagstaff.
Strain is a native of Bakersfield, Calif. and starred at Centennial High School of Bakersfield where he was a four-year varsity heavyweight and a three-year league champion for the Golden Hawks.
Strain assumes the reins of a program that went 5-15 last season and placed 22nd overall at the NCJAA National Championship meet.
