Region 1-18 Challenge

THATCHER, Ariz.-Chance Trujillo posted 23 points on 8-9 from the field and 7-8 from range as the No. 24 Snow Badgers overpowered Arizona Western 94-70 Friday in the Region 1-18 Challenge at Eastern Arizona College.

The Badgers shot 61 percent (35-57) from the field in the win as Snow improved to 4-0.

Matt Anglo led the Matadors in defeat with 16 points. Arizona Western shot 56 percent from the field in the loss.

Snow returns to action Saturday at 8:30 pm against the host Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters as the Region 1-18 Challenge ensues.
