EPHRAIM, Utah-In news from late Monday, Snow College men’s basketball head coach Andrew May announced the retention of assistant coach Ben Cruickshank on his staff.
Cruickshank is in his sixth season as an assistant with the Badgers.
During his time, Snow is 100-56 (.641), including a 26-8 campaign in 2022 which saw the Badgers make an appearance in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament at Hutchinson, Kan. and making a run to the Sweet 16 before being eliminated by Dodge City (Kan.).
Cruickshank has played an instrumental role in helping the Badgers place 22 former players at NCAA Division I and Division II institutions.
A native Nebraskan, Cruickshank coached at NAIA schools Doane College and Peru State, each in Nebraska, before coming to Snow
As a player, Cruickshank starred at Southeast Community College of Lincoln, Neb., leading the Storm to the 2008 NJCAA Tournament. He then went on to play at NCAA Division II University of Mary of Bismarck, N.D.
Cruickshank is a 2014 graduate of Doane College and he earned a Master’s degree in Organization Management from Peru State in 2018.
