Snow College Thanksgiving Classic

EPHRAIM, Utah-Max Triplett posted 25 points and 10 rebounds on 9-11 from the field and the No. 9 Snow Badgers outgunned Green River (Wash.) 100-90 to go 2-0 at the Snow College Thanksgiving Classic Saturday. The Badgers improved to 9-0 by shooting 58 percent (35-60) from the field for the game.

Tyler Burraston netted 20 points on 7-11 from the field and 6-9 behind the arc for the Gators in the loss.

Snow returns to action Thursday at 7:00 pm by hosting the Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters in the Region 1/Region 18 challenge. Friday, the Badgers will host the Arizona Western Matadors in the event.

Vista Auto Thanksgiving Classic @ Casper College

CASPER, Wyo.-Andi Schissler netted 22 points on 9-15 from the field as the Casper (Wyo.) Thunderbirds downed Snow 92-63 Saturday at the Vista Auto Thanksgiving Classic. Hungarian national Luca Acs added 20 points on 7-8 and 6-6 at the foul line in the win for the Thunderbirds, who shot 55 percent from the field for the game (37-67). Ainsley Thurber had 12 points on 4-8 from the field in the loss for the Badgers. Snow returns to action Friday at Lamar (Colo.) at the Lamar Community College Tournament.
