Scenic West

EPHRAIM, Utah-Hagen Wright netted 24 points on 7-13 from the field and 8-8 at the foul line as the No. 22 Snow Badgers overpowered USU-Eastern Utah 86-68 Thursday in Scenic West men’s basketball play at the Horne Activity Center. Wyatt Lowell added 20 points and 6 rebounds on 7-12 from the field for Snow in the victory. Peyton Falslev had 19 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Eagles.

Snow improves to 15-5 and 6-4 in Scenic West play with the victory. USU-Eastern Utah falls to 14-8 and 6-6 in conference play with the loss.

Women’s Basketball

Scenic West

EPHRAIM, Utah-Ashlee Edwards posted 20 points on 7-12 from the field and 4-4 at the foul line as the Snow Badgers got past USU-Eastern Utah 59-50 Thursday in Scenic West women’s basketball play at the Horne Activity Center.

Kinlee Toomer’s 15 points and 9 rebounds led the Eagles in the loss.

Snow improves to 12-5 and 9-3 in Scenic West play with the victory. USU-Eastern Utah stumbles to 10-7 and 8-5 in Scenic West play in defeat.

The Badgers return to action Saturday afternoon as they host the Southern Nevada Coyotes.
