TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-Isaac Finlinson made a free throw in the closing seconds and No. 1 Snow outlasted No. 4 Salt Lake Community College 77-76 Thursday in the SWAC opener for both squads at the Lifetime Activities Center.

Isaac Garrett posted 28 points and 8 rebounds on 6-11 from the field in victory for the Badgers.

Ethan Copeland netted 28 points and 6 rebounds in defeat for the Bruins.

Snow (13-1, 1-0 in SWAC play) returns to action Saturday at Rangely, Colo. against the Colorado Northwestern Spartans at 3:00 pm as the conference season continues.

Maliyah Elliott netted 15 points in defeat for the Badgers. Snow returns to action Saturday at 1:00 pm at Rangely, Colo. against the Colorado Northwestern Spartans.
