Scenic West

EPHRAIM, Utah-Hagen Wright netted 27 points and 5 rebounds on 9-12 from the field as the No. 20 Snow Badgers overpowerd Southern Nevada 84-72 in Scenic West men’s basketball action Thursday.  Darren Jones had 24 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Coyotes.

Snow improves to 13-4 and 4-3 in Scenic West play with the win. Southern Nevada stumbles to 9-10 and 3-4 in conference play with the loss.

The Badgers return to action Saturday by hosting Real Salt Lake Academy in an exhibition game.

Women’s Basketball

Scenic West 

EPHRAIM, Utah-Ashlee Edwards posted 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists on 7-12 from the field as the Snow Badgers bested Southern Nevada 77-64 Thursday in Scenic West women’s basketball action. Samiana Sugturaga added 19 points and 6 rebounds on 7-12 from the field in victory for the Badgers.

Destiny Brown netted 19 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocked shots on 7-10 from the field for the Coyotes in the loss.

Snow improves to 10-9 and 4-3 in Scenic West play on the season with the victory. The Coyotes fell to 7-12 and 2-5 in Scenic West play in defeat.
